Joey Braccino is currently in his third year at Rutgers University. An aspiring high school english teacher, Joey has yet to and does not plan on taking any theatre arts related courses during his tenure here at the university. Regardless, Joey thoroughly enjoys all aspects of the theatrical experience, whether it be on-stage or off-. He began performing on the stage during his Sophomore year at North Brunswick Township High School. Past acting credits at Cabaret Theatre include Dog Sees God, HAIR, and Assassins. Other favorite roles include Action (West Side Story), Thenardier (Les Miserables), Lockstock (Urinetown), and Grandpa Vanderhof (You Can't Take it With You). Joey has also become increasingly fascinated by the off-stage art of directing. So far, Joey's most prominent project was last year's Songs For a New World at Cabaret Theatre. He is directing William Finn's "A New Brain" this Fall. Joey is the current Managing Director at Cabaret Theatre.
