The Cabaret Theatre 2006-07 staff is made up primarily by current and former Rutgers University students. Each spring the Cabaret Theatre holds elections. Only active staff are eligible to vote. However, most anyone is welcome to run for any open position.

Due to the fact that most staff members are college students, the turnover ratio is rather high as first year students come in and seniors graduate. This is truly a double-edged sword. While it allows new ideas and change to be brought about, staff tend not to hold any one position for more than one or maybe two seasons. This means that the Cabaret Theatre is always in a state of flux.
