Ticket Policy

-Digital purchases: Cabaret Theatre uses a ticketing system provided by Rutgers University’s Student Activities Business Office (SABO). A link to purchase tickets for a production will be posted on both this website and Cabaret Theatre’s social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter). From that link, you will be brought to the SABO page with a schedule of all available shows and the option to purchase the tickets. If you are a student or faculty/staff member with a valid RUID, or are a Senior Citizen with Proof of Age over 60, there will be a discounted ticket option for you. If not, select the option for general admission.

-In-person purchases: The box office will open one hour before the listed show time and close once the show starts. During this window, any available seating we have will be sold to the public. Purchases are made on first come, first served basis. Cash only. We highly recommend purchasing your tickets digitally, as there is no guarantee of in-person tickets to be purchased. Patrons that arrive after all tickets are sold can be added to a waiting list for tickets that will be released as a result of absent ticket holders or cancellations.

-No refunds. All ticket sale purchases are final. Refunds will only be issued if the show is cancelled. Refund information for cancelled events will be posted on the Cabaret Theatre website and the respective Facebook event page.

-Exchanges: Please email cabtheatre@gmail.com at least 48 hours before whichever comes first: the show listed on your ticket or the show you are trying to exchange your ticket for. ID's will be checked at the door, but it does not need to match the name listed on the ticket. Exchanges may not always be possible due to our space’s limited seating and ticket availability.

-Cancellations: Please email cabtheatre@gmail.com. Please note that Cabaret is unable to provide refunds for cancelled ticket purchases.

-Complimentary tickets: If you are eligible for complimentary tickets, please email cabtheatre@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the show.

-For any general questions, please email cabtheatre@gmail.com.

Seating Policy

-Patrons may sit in any seat of their choosing that is not marked as reserved. Patrons must be seated by start time of the show.

-In an effort to minimize distraction to the performers and other patrons, patrons that leave the performance during the show for any reason might not be allowed to return to the theatre. If patrons are permitted by the house staff to reenter the theatre, they might not be returned to their original seat.

Late Policy

-Tickets purchased in advance by patrons that have not arrived at the theatre by the show's listed start time will be resold promptly at the show's listed start time to patrons on our waiting list. As such, we CANNOT guarantee entry to ticket holders that arrive after a show's listed start time.

-Possession of a purchased online ticket DOES NOT guarantee entry to a show after its listed start time. Additionally, we are unable to grant refunds to patrons whose tickets have been resold due to late arrival.

-Patrons that arrive to the theatre after the show's listed start time without a purchased ticket will not be permitted to enter.
