Hello dear blog readers, how were your Thanksgiving breaks? Hopefully, you enjoyed some safe time with your family. Welcome back to that horrid time between Thanksgiving weekend and winter break. Quite terrible, right? Well, you know what I say, “there’s nothing that a cedar balsam candle and a night of theatre can’t fix”. And even though this is obviously a Cabaret Theater blog, there are many opportunities to engulf yourself in student theatre this week to take a break from preparing for finals. But, I’ll tell you a little more about that later when we wrap things up.

Today I’m here to tell you about the Directors’ Showcase! Which is the last production that we will be putting up until next year. I will not write words for too much longer because I have again whipped up a little vlog for your viewing pleasure. This time, strictly interviewing the directors who imagined this lovely collection of short plays and brought them to your computer screens. I like Director's Roundtables because they are a nice way to shine a light onto all the thought that goes into putting on the productions that we get to enjoy, and what’s even cooler about this DS is that it is entirely directed by WOMEN. That’s right! Three talented women are the directors who put in the work to make this show possible and they all did such a great job. I really enjoyed watching this year’s DS, and Miranda, Maria, and Prava were able to make each show so conducive to the online format. Applause all around to those lovely ladies. Below I will also attach some more show links because The Livingston Theatre Company is also having their mainstage show weekend so make sure to check out their work as well!
